CRAM 311: Ceramics: Directed Projects

The emphasis of this course is on independent work and individual exploration of ceramics as a practice to develop ideas and to investigate the role ceramics plays in the contemporary world, specifically but not exclusively as it relates to current art practices. Projects will be mostly self-directed but group exercises on a common theme will permit to focus and discuss specific problems as a group. Original and personal results are expected. Participation in group critiques, lectures, presentations and demonstrations form an integral part of the course.

Priority is given to CRCP and VIAR students in Years 3 and 4. Students outside of the registration priority group may register/waitlist for this course as of the registration rule release date.
