GSMD 611: Thesis Project Seminar II

Students will be expected to mount an exhibit of their work at the end of the term. This exhibit will show (to the extent possible) their research and process and how it informs their final design. They will present and defend their thesis project to a panel in a formal Oral Defense. This panel will be comprised of both internal and external experts and faculty members who will review the completed project and paper. They will question the student in depth and ultimately decide whether the project can be accepted. The Critical and Process Documentation should be an integral part of the project itself. That is, it should not be seen as a separate, stand-alone document, but an explanation/reflection/description of the design process and methodology that leads to the prototype realization.
