INDD 416: Interaction Design

This course is for students that have not taken INDD 316. It is focused on developing interaction design techniques in the design process. Identifying problems, opportunities, needs, and designing solutions to satisfy these findings are core concepts that will be covered from a people centered perspective. Ethnographic techniques will be the main method of understanding and practicing the core concepts. The workshop will be focused on peoples' physical interaction with digital information, communication and entertainment environments. The course will consist of lectures, student led seminars and individual or group projects.
