ISMA 316: Creative Electronics:Robotics

Contemporary artists and designers have joined their bodies with electronic media in order to create robotic, kinetic and interactive movement in contemporary artworks incorporating kinesthesia, surrogate bodies and artificial intelligence. This course builds on ideas and techniques explored in ISMA 216. Students will learn more advanced techniques and approaches to making art using electronics. Movement, light, sound, and interfaces between technology and the body will be the elements developed in this class.

NMSA 206 Creative Electronics or ISMA 302 Interactive Wearables
