PRNT 205: Print: Alternative Processes

This course is designed for students who wish to continue development of their studio skills and explore the printmaking medium in context of contemporary direction in Art. Students will learn basic techniques in the area of monochromatic and colour printing through simple technological approaches to the printmaking medium. The class will be taught through workshop demonstrations and projects. Class critiques and tutorial discussion will encourage the students' artistic development in the printmaking medium. Emphasis is placed on both critical examination of the students' work and the students' exploration of contemporary ideas in the print form.
