SOCS 309 S001: Design Research + Methods
This course introduces students to the multiple methods of conducting design research for facilitating and enhancing people's experiences of designed images, artefacts, spaces, environments, and interfaces. Topics include: marketing, ethnography, cultural probes, scenario development and testing, persona development and testing, journaling, cognitive mapping, empathy tools, body storming, experience prototyping, participatory design research, and ethics.
