About Works 2 Work
First implemented in 2001, the Works to Work program offers a unique
employment opportunity that combines visual art theory with hands-on work
experience in the fast paced setting of The Works Art & Design Festival.

This paid certification program includes two streams, each with three
progressive levels, in which you can become certified (subject to successful
completion).

The Exhibit and Technology stream provides the learner experience in
preparation, art handling, planning, install/dismantle, lighting, sound,
construction techniques, inventory, resource management, etc.

The Curation stream provides the learner experience in curatorial research,
registration, reporting, documentation, archiving, communications,
curatorial intent, install/dismantle, audience development, and information
dissemination.
