ILUS-206

ILUS 206: ILUS: Ideation + Sequence

Students are introduced to design and conceptual approaches to problem solving as they apply contemporary painting and drawing practices to both single images and multiple panels. With an emphasis on examination and ideation, students learn the process and methods of image making. A key part of the course allows explorations with composition and iconography for the single image. The course further involves the exploration of sequential and interrelated frames, and narrative approaches.
