MFA (Low-Residency)

Concentrated and intensive summers, flexible delivery

Our MFA (Low-residency) program is two-and-a-half years long and is structured around three four-week summer residencies on campus during the month of July, with innovative and interactive online coursework during the fall and spring terms within a supportive community.

The three summer residencies exceed a full-time schedule and are periods of intense studio practice development, allowing you to deepen your creative research and material exploration in Vancouver. The online coursework and thesis development throughout fall and spring allows more flexibility in managing balance in your life.

The program is designed for artists located outside of Vancouver, who are looking for professional opportunities, access to technologies and instruction, in a flexible delivery that includes a concentrated summer schedule.
