The Academic Office

The Academic Office will be your first point of contact for many of your questions: they provide information before the start of each term to support your teaching at Emily Carr.

If you have questions about your specific class, would like to see outlines from previous versions of the course, or need access to equipment or resources, start with the Academic Office.

CTS

Our CTS department supports faculty using Zoom for real-time class meetings, as well as faculty who want to make video recordings in one of our two lecture rooms on campus: Rennie Hall and the Reliance Theatre. To request a Zoom account, set up meetings or webinars using Zoom, or book a lecture room, contact IT Help.

IT

Our IT team creates and supports the technical side of Moodle, our course management system. Contact IT Help for any technical issues you encounter with Moodle.

IT can also copy content from one Moodle course site to another or combine two Moodle course shells, both of which you can request through the New Moodle Course Request form under the Links menu at courses.ecuad.ca
