Shark Savers

This project was initiated in my Advanced Print Publications class. It saw us be assigned a random charity and in response, we were tasked with creating some sort of promotional material for it.

Mine was Shark Savers, an organization that focuses on protecting sharks from over-fishing caused by the enormous demand for shark fin soup. I chose to illustrate this into a graphic novel because of the violent nature of the content. It would allow me to at least soften the blow, while not ignoring what was actually happening. Also, the name 'Shark Savers' just screams to old school superheroes and their comic panels.
