ECU International Student Learning Transition E-Guide

This project aims to help new-coming and current Emily Carr Asian International students to adjust their learning habits during their academic transition from their own system to the North American one. The final outcome is an iPad-based interactive e-guide, which offers the reader information related to the transition process through three types of scenarios — In class, In group and By yourself. This design intends to create a more intimate and live-time environment for the reader to understand the content.

The content is showcased in a Q&A format. The data of Q&A is generated by current ECU Asian International students. Most frequent asked questions will be ranked to the scenario page, and the rest can be found in More Q section. The answers to each question can be rated by readers, and the top rated will be the best answer to the question. There are also small icons embedded within certain answers, which are external links to more information.
