My partners Patrick MacManus, Song Kim, Michelle Tanner and I have created “Avir,” a foldable chair meant for indoor and outdoor use in the home setting. The project was assigned by 18 Karat, a furniture store located on Granville St. Vancouver, BC. Avir meaning “air” in Hebrew is also a characteristic of this chair where it was designed to be as light as possible and when folded to takes up as little space as possible.
