    There is a lack of awareness of what a shoe is made up of, and that it can be recycled. Some claim to recycle their shoes by donation, but donations are just an entry point for unwanted goods to go once a user is done using the product. Unfortunately, what happens during the sorting process is that the least worn items will remain while the unusable items end up in the trash, which leads to the landfill.

    Enigmod is a living solution for a 90 square foot apartment that can be found in Downtown Vancouver. My partners Karla Tull-Esterbrook, Bobbi Kyle, and I designed Enigmod with the target user in mind. The target user being students or working class people working in the downtown core, who only require minimal living space but desires the convenience of the location. Enigmod features a platform with a built-in table, hanger rods for their clothes, and shelving for their personal items. Below...

    The Plexipack draws its inspiration from existing hard shell backpacks but reinterpreted for urban use. Its hard shell is made from ¼ inch bent plexiglass, interior is lined with cotton and exterior made from ballistic nylon. It also features a padded back and shoulder straps, and stores a 13-inch laptop. Plexipack is meant for the everyday commuter who takes public transit or bikes.
