Togather is a set of plates for multi-cultural cuisines where food is shared. Its unique features allow it to be arranged in multiples where interesting visual patterns can be created on the dining table. The lip of the dishware is stackable to eliminate the unused negative space created by traditional circular dishware. Togather carries out a collective dining experience and is very flexible in terms of the usage. It can be used in a traditional dinner setting at home for a large group, a couple who have a small dining table at home, a cocktail party, or even in a modern tapas style dinner at a restaurant.

As a Chinese designer used to large family gatherings, I saw an opportunity to reconsider the functions of modern dinnerware and create a new aesthetic experience at the dining table. The circle is a very symbolic shape in the many cultures and has the meaning of wholeness. The design challenge for me was to resolve the problem , the placement on the dining table, while staying true to the cultural aspect.
