This course explores professionalism, networking and communication in relation to designer roles and teams. From copywriting and communication, to interviews and presentations, a professional designer should demonstrate respect for the profession, for colleagues, for clients, for audiences or consumers, and for society as a whole. Students will identify job opportunities and roles within the UX industry, implement organizational tools for project management, and develop best practices for self-promotion. Whether working in a small or mid-size design studio, to more independent roles, students will gain important skills and strategies for demonstrating professionalism, resilience and capacity.
