With the ever-growing variety of devices, viewport sizes and online environments, modular design engages every aspect of web and digital creation processes. In tandem with responsive design, modularity and design systems promote dynamic project workflow, strategy, process, design, and development. Considering the value of collaboration and diverse team environments, this course prepares students for the realities and workflows of UX/UI industries. From an atomic design perspective, this course explores modularity, design systems and workflows to support successful user experience and interface design. Students will evaluate design systems and conduct a visual audit of an existing site or digital asset.
