ISMA 304: Locative Media

Locative Media, a new and emerging field in art that bridges cartography, public space, geography, cultural histories, narratives, and gaming. Using Global Positioning Satellites (GPS) devices, cell phones and other location-based media, students explore gaming, public histories and narratives and social networks in public spaces as well as the private meanings of and connections to space and place.

Priority is given to ISMA students in Years 3 and 4. Students outside of the registration priority group may register/waitlist for this course as of the registration rule release date.
