NMSA 309: CONNECT! Web Practices

Building on practices introduced in NMSA 209 CONNECT Web Essentials, this intermediate studio course is intended for artists who want to expand their knowledge and practice in web-based projects. In this course, students apply the use of HTML and CSS to more detailed editing of CMS templates and experiment with interactivity through the use of javascript and jquery. Students will begin to explore computing processes for mobile devices. Students are mentored to critique and contextualize work within critical, aesthetic, and historical aspects of web art and online environments.
