Just a quick reminder that tuition is due by 4:00pm on Friday, September 20th.  If you are paying by online banking, make sure you do so today so that is arrives before the deadline.  It can take a couple of days for the banks to process the payment.

If you do not pay before the deadline you will be subject to late fees and reinstatement fees.

Please be reminded that today is the deadline to add and drop classes without financial penalty.  All classes must be added or dropped before 11:59pm, Friday, September 13th.

IMPORTANT - REVIEW YOUR SCHEDULE ON MYEC TO ENSURE IT IS ACCURATE.  IF YOU ARE REGISTERED IN A COURSE THAT YOU DO NOT INTEND TO TAKE, YOU WILL BE CHARGED TUITION FOR IT.

If you are still registered or waitlisted in a class that you no longer plan to attend, please be kind to your fellow students and drop the class to make way for others that are interested and waitlisted.

Keep in mind that all unwanted courses must be dropped by Friday, September 13th.  If you forget to drop something you do not plan to take, you will be charged tuition for it.  So, be kind to your wallet too!

Students on a waitlist for a course must attend the first class even though they are not yet fully registered.  Students that don't attend the first class will be removed from the waitlist to increase the chances of registration for those students that did attend the class.  Also, attending the first class will ensure you don't miss any of the course content!

If you attended a course as a waitlisted student and you are no longer interested in taking it, be sure to remove yourself from the waitlist.

Just a reminder that classes don't start until September 9th but your UPass started on September 1st.  Don't forget to link your UPass to your Compass Card.

This is just a reminder that the window to accept the space for a course you have waitlisted for is now 1 day from the date of the email notification giving you permission to register.

If you are on a waitlist for a course, be sure to keep a close eye on your emails so that you don't miss the window to register.

If you miss the one day registration window, your permission to register will expire and you will be have to re-waitlist yourself and will be placed at the bottom of the waitlist.

If you are a new student starting at Emily Carr in September 2019, don't forget to upload your photo for your student ID card, called the Emily Carr OneCard.  Your OneCard will allow you to access your classrooms, will give you borrowing privileges for the Library and equipment, etc.

Click on the Emily Carr OneCard link under My Bookmarks in myEC to get started.  OneCards can be picked up at Orientation or during the first week of classes.
