Christian Blyt is an Associate Professor in Industrial Design and Coordinator of the Innovations in Wood Design program. He received his MA in Interior Architecture and Furniture Design from Aalto University (formerly University of Arts and Design) in Helsinki, Finland and a technical diploma in Wood Product Manufacturing from BCIT. His work encompasses a wide range of international experiences in different segments of the wood / furniture design and manufacturing industry. He is also a partner in the design and development firm, Greenhus Designs. that that has commercializing his patented master thesis Corelam™ (an all-wood corrugated plywood product) and a founding member of the Bark Design Collective.
