ILUS 200: Illustration: Essentials

Students are introduced to a variety of techniques and how they might be applied in diverse pictorial strategies. This entry-level course features a strong emphasis on the development of technical skills. Individuals work on a series of short and simple assignments, each designed to explore the advantages of a particular medium in the articulation of form and spatial representation. Wet, dry and digital media are explored in sequence.
