    In Spring 2013 I took Type Design, taught by Ross Milne. We were assigned with the task of hand lettering a specific neighborhood in Vancouver. I was fortunate enough to get Mt. Pleasant, the neighborhood I currently reside in.

    In the spring of 2012 I worked on a design exercise for the founders of Moby to redesign their current app for iOS. The application needed to appeal more to families and better address their needs to locate and stay in touch with a simple, pleasing experience.

    The solution was simple. Pings. Location updates with-or-without messages attached.

    A Screen Test can be defined as: a filmed audition of an actor or actress. Sometimes shot in their natural state not "acting" but just being themselves.

    This course is supposed to expose us to the many mediums of artwork and design. We are encouraged to work outside of our comfort zone and use materials we are unfamiliar with.

    For this assignment we were required to create three separate pieces that present metaphors for a specific theme. My theme was American Commercial Media Networks. Naturally, I produced work which represented my personal opinion of the Mainstream Media.
