    Relit is an LED ambient expressive mood light made from mainly byproduct waste materials for living room spaces to spark conversation and provoke conversation.

     

     

  • 2011

    A Collaborative project between Emily Carr Industrial Design students and 18Karat furniture company to design a dining table for indoor and outdoor use. The aim has been to create a holistic table solution with a physical and visual connection between tabletop and legs through functional rope detailing, joinery, and the use of negative space. In transportation top and bottom are apart and are assembled with rope at its end destination.

    The design intent was to make jewelry out of small toy figures through removing and taking multiples of a single part so that its value and purpose is renewed.

  • 2010

    An Interactive Children's Toy made from birch wood for a 6 year old co-creater. The idea was to create a wooden track system for automotive toys where the user could assemble and deconstruct the system onto any given surface. Each individual wooden track piece uses strong earth magnets to connect to each other.

    Designed in collaboration with Adrian Wu and Katy Chen.

    This project involved Stantec Architects and the B.C Children's Hospital. The design challenge was to improve the furniture design in hospital patient rooms to encourage visits from caretakers and loved ones, and to accomodate sitting for 3-5 people.

    A conceptual bicycle design inspired by the organic curves and forms from nature's inhabitants.

  • 2009

    Collaborative project with Wood-Coop on Grandville Island to design a cost efficient light that could be flat-packed and assembled by the user using Aircraft Plywood. The components were to be processed on a C.N. C machine and bent in tension.
