Erika Rannali

I was born in a faraway land called Finland and decided to awaken myself by moving to Vancouver and furthering my knowledge in photography. However, while studying at Emily Carr, I have found my interests expanding to multiple other mediums and fields such as social practice, community engagement, video, printmaking, ceramics, books and many more. Closest to my heart, as I have come to realize very recently, is social practice. What exactly does that mean, one might ask. Well, let me help you: think of it as the perfect combination of creativity and community engagement. Or, as I like to call it, CCE (Creative Community Engagement).
