Tiziana La Melia is a Vancouver based artist and writer.
She received her BFA from Emily Carr University and her MFA from the University of Guelph. She also studied literature at Simon Fraser University and was a founder of the writing group A.23 (2006-2008).
In September 2015 she will participate in the Second Homes Residency at Parc Saint Léger, Pougues-les-Eaux. Upcoming exhibitions include Stopping the Sun in its Course at Francois Ghebaly Gallery (LA) and Through A Window, at SFU/Audain Gallery, both in June. In 2014, she was the Writer in Residence at TPW R&D (Toronto) and attended the Mountain School of Arts (Los Angeles). She is the 2014 recipient of the RBC Painting Prize. She is represented by The Apartment (Vancouver).
