During my exchange semester at WdKA, our core design project was to research the effects of the art and culture financial cutbacks in the Netherlands. In response to the crisis, I decided to research on the idea of open source design.
As a result of my research of various case studies, I decided to create a series of publication designed to educate the audience the success of open source design and how it may be effective in times of financial cutbacks.

During my exchange semester at WdKA, one of the projects was to design an interactive journey. With the experience studying in a foreign city, I noticed the lack of resources to experience local culture.

Therefore, I decided to design an app for tablet devices to guide users through a local outdoor market (Blaak Market) situated in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. With the aim to promote sustainable and culturally driven local eating.

Aim for this project was to create a full typographic identity system for a local performance arts festival. Along with the logomark, a system of elements were developed to contribute to a cohesive brand image. The goal of this project was to create a typographic logo mark which then could be applied to various mediums of the festival, including posters, stationary, guidebook, and social media platforms.

The concept of the poster series was based on the cultural rollercoaster, which many students who studied abroad experienced and by reflecting upon it, we wanted the audience to understand and experience each and every student's exchange journey.
