Bio

I'm someone who understands that that we need to adapt our role as a designer to provide creative equity, as well as technical understanding. The ability to bridge the gap between design for manufacturing and the creative expression of an object through the use sketching as a communicative tool is something I pride myself with.
I approach a design concept in a multi-faceted way, using sketching, prototypes, iterations, and CAD to communicate ideas. I also carry experience in Graphic Design, Manufacturing, Mentoring, and more. The goal is to create something that offers a unique experience, and live up to the level of excellence that the people behind it wanted it to have.

Urbanode is an application of distributed calm technology that collects real time sensory data, and responds to the current city mood in Vancouver public spaces.

Versaflux

2015

Versaflux is a redesign of traditional hardhat lights, emphasizing on user interaction in order to fit the needs of an everyday construction worker.

Optimized for quick installation and removal from the hardhat, improving general focus and communication on the work site. Existing designs require users to strap a light around the hardhat as tight as possible.
