    CONCEPT  A pair of sandals designed using cellular structure and a minimalist aesthetic. DEVELOPMENT  Using structures inspired from nature, the soles of the sandals prove to be durable and light weight while also providing a custom fit. Materials used were limited to 2-ply bristol board and white glue.

    CONCEPT  A spacial environment designed for one person that elicits a specific emotion or mood. DEVELOPMENT  In collaboration with two others we mocked up miniature versions of our design before venturing to full scale corrugated cardboard. We also worked on creating an overwhelming emotion of ëconfusioní from both inside and outside the spacial environment.

    CONCEPT  A wearable/mobile product emphasizing an aspect of man-machine interaction. DEVELOPMENT  This project was a team collaboration using the capabilities of Lego Mindstorms technology. The end result was a preliminary working prototype of an interactive blanket for children.

    CONCEPT  A navigation helmet designed to provide the user with a sense of control over their environment. DEVELOPMENT  Object and material research helped in the creation of a first draft model. The prototype was constructed with the intent to move forward with visor display integration and global positioning functionality.

    CONCEPT  A wearable device designed specifically for individuals with heart conditions. DEVELOPMENT  A collaborative effort between myself and two others in which we concentrated on design iteration and storyboarding. Although the physical creation and product design was explored, it was not the main focus.

    CONCEPT  An infographic illustrating the re-interpretation of an object of play/design. DEVELOPMENT  Both 2D and 3D representations were created to visually interpret the object in either a concrete or abstract way. Research and exploration on infographics helped in creating the final layout.
