"Don't Be a Thug, Unplug" Music Video
video
description
The goal of this project was to produce a minute-and-a-half long public awareness video focusing on environmental sustainability, with each submission placed on a Youtube.com channel for public consumption. This rap music video was a collaborative work created to draw attention to the problem of “vampire energy”. That is, appliances and electronics that consume energy, simply by staying plugged in.
The Eco-Soldiers’ plea for viewers to “unplug” reached over one thousand hits on the website and received acclaim from the local Vancouver Courier newspaper. http://www.vancourier.com/technology/Students+green+YouTube/2898196/story.html
