Join us for a lunch time talk with printmaker Ryan O'Malley.

An artist, educator and member of the Outlaw Printmakers, Ryan O’Malley’s work has been included in numerous national and international exhibitions, publications, portfolios and collections. He has exhibited internationally including Russia, Japan, France and China; with solo exhibitions in Parnü, Estonia, and collectively on occasion of the Venice Biennale International Arts Exhibition in 2011 and 2013. He is currently Associate Professor of Art in Printmaking and Graduate Coordinator at Texas A&M University-Corpus.

This talk is presented by the Audain Faculty of Visual Art + Material Practice.

Please join us in welcoming Charles Stankievech, recipient of the Audain Distinguished Artist-in-Residence Program for Spring/Summer 2016. Stankievech will be giving a public talk in the Emily Carr Theatre, followed by a reception in the Charles H. Scott Gallery.

Emily Carr University is pleased to welcome David Zink Yi, who will join us in early 2015 as the Audain Distinguished Artist-in-Residence. The Audain Distinguished Artist-in-Residence Program, funded by Michael Audain and the Audain Foundation for the Visual Arts, enables the University to bring the world’s leading contemporary artists to live and work in Vancouver for a one to three month period. Guest artists and visiting lecturers are an integral part of the Emily Carr community – artists complement students’ education, work with existing faculty and bringing new opportunities for collaboration and engagement.
