Kenya
description
On a sign big and white read "Smile You Are In Kenya." It was the first thing I saw as my plane landed down in Nairobi mid-February. I did not know what to expect for my 2 month expedition, but maybe that was a good thing. My main objective was to volunteer in Kenya, and I met some of the most amazing people I have ever come across in my life. Stories of heroism, heartbreak and corruption, I became more and more infatuated with the people of Kenya. My love for the country lives on, and with my photos I try to re tell the stories that still inspire me today.
Swan
description
Oil painting of a swan who's picture I took in Luzern whilst touring europe.
Flower-petal
description
And a final photoshop attempt, using once again Adobe Photoshop 5 (it's all I had at the time) and my faithful old Canon PowerShot.
This particular image is a hand blended in with a super close-up shot of a flower-petal.
Tiki-stump
description
Another early photoshop attempt, once again on Adobe Photoshop 5, using pictures taken with my Canon PowerShot.
This blends one of my previous works (Mr. Tiki Man) with an old, dried-out, beaver-chewed tree stump.
Fiddle-head
description
An early photoshop attempt, blending a plant, and a musical instrument part, both known as "fiddle head".
This was done using Adobe Photoshop 5. The pictures (of the plant and the instrument) were taken using my dinky little Canon PowerShot...
I love that camera, you couldn't get me to trade that camera in for the world!
