This series was somewhat based on a series of nightmares I was having. I found that once I created this series, I stopped having these nightmares. This whole series was photographed with long exposures on film, and I layered images to create somewhat of a narrative between the characters within the dreamscape.

To Illuminate can mean to make something brighter and lighter, or it can mean to make something clearer or more understandable. Electric Dreams explores both of these meanings of illumination and makes the relationship between light and thought tangible and visible.
