The Digital Output Centre (DOC) is available to students, staff and faculty and is staffed by technicians with tremendous knowledge and skill in document creation, print preparation and colour accuracy & management. In order to assist clients with files prior to printing, there are five colour calibrated workstations available for booking.
Files can be printed to several types of devices:
- wide format inkjet for best quality
- wide format toner printers for a lower cost
- vinyl cutters
- B&W and Colour laser presses (as an alternative to off set press, perfect for producing books or small publications).
High resolution scanning and document binding services are also available, and faculty are welcome to contact the DOC to inquire about class orientations and support.
Print costs to the university community are kept as low as possible and often depend on the size of the print, which printer is used, and which paper or media is used. Visit the DOC to see sample prints and get quick estimates.
