    For this project, our class was asked to redesign the cover, contents, department/column, editor’s page, feature, and portfolio pages of Applied Arts Magazine. The chosen designs (including mine) were submitted to Applied Arts to be reviewed and had the possibility of being showcased in the magazine.

    For this assignment we were asked to redesign the layout of a book of our choice - treating the book stylistically in a traditional way. I chose one of my favorites, The History of Love by Nicole Krauss.

    For this assignment we were asked to create a twelve page type specimen book, highlighting three historically-important typefaces from different historical periods in type design. The specimen includes historical information about these faces and also reflect the time period in which they came from through the aesthetics.
