    This work in progress is an experiment in mobile eating. The project started out of a desire to challenge what an 'on-the-go' dining experience was, and to explore a new medium and making process, ceramics and slip casting.

    The 160 degree home is a project that examines the essential aspects of living in small dwellings. The criteria of the project was to create a space within 160 square feet using a new building technique that utilizes Cross Laminated Timber.     cici is an interactive toy for kids. Based on the criteria of design for longevity, this simple design makes use of birch plywood and was designed to appeal to many uses. The construction blocks shaped like a ‘C’ are able to be used in 2d games such as puzzles and memory games or 3d in creating self balancing stacks, towers, or dominos.

    trilume is a thin, flat-packed, wood centerpiece that houses a tea-light candle. Made with aircraft plywood from Finland, the form consists of three repeated ‘leaves’ that join together in the center and bend into shape. The light from the candle flickers and glows through the thin wood creating beautiful ambient lighting for intimate spaces such as restaurant tables.

The project mandate called for a service design that would help minimize the toys thrown away and bought new from the store.
