    The goal was to embrace a more realistic perspective about peoples shopping habits. We needed to find a way to show plastic bags in a less forceful way but at the same time provide information in order to allow the viewer to make educated decisions.

    objective : This project took on many forms. At this stage the event had to be marketed to office workers. The challenge was to build preciousness into what was essentially in the end just another advertisement.
    This was accomplished through:
    Silk screening and hand threading each invitation, making the invite small and wrapped up as well as placing them in unpredictable but noticeable spots, including attaching it to each elevator button.

    objective : I worked along side a number of designers to promote the voting system  Single Transferable Voting (STV) in British Columbia’s 2008 by-election.
    There was a desperate need for material that went beyond traditional promotion. Instead the system had to be able to be explained in a clear and translatable language to the public. It also had to break beyond the skepticism and misconceptions that challenged it along the way.
