    Designed for kids primarily aged 6-8 interested in DIY, KLIPPENBAND building kits allow for characters, structures and creatures to take form in seconds. The harmony of colour-coded flexible double sided hook and loop fastening straps combined with rigid, multi directional ball and socket joints creates a balance allowing kids to fasten household objects together no matter the shape, and precisely position them as they please.

    For a Design Build Research course by Michael Green Architecture, Bryce was selected with a team of students also attending several universities including Emily Carr University of Art + Design, to make concepts, CAD files and operate a CNC machine for creating shelters at TED 2016. The shelters were located just adjacent to the Vancouver Convention Centre for the duration of the TED 2016 talks, where TEDsters and attendees could enjoy the fresh air under the canopy created by the students...

  • 2015

    Inspired by a combination of foam figurines for carving into, articulating drawing mannequins and Lego, this building system was developed to promote woodworking at an age as early as six years old. The main components consist of wooden blocks and 3D printed plastic ball and socket joints that feature holes large enough for wood screws, allowing for scraps of wood or other materials to be attached beyond the standard included pieces.
