    For the first semster of my grad thesis project, I created an online system called "Freestyle" which provides an easy way for people to manage their fresh food and teach them how to cook it with using basic methods of cooking. The site allowed them to freely explore what they can do with the food that they have at home, and also inspire them to buy more with their growing knowledge.

    The opportunity to rebrand the VIFF got me thinking about possibities of making the film festival look more fun. I settled with a grid that could create confetti and type for the rebranded identity.

    During the school break, I wrote down some design-related thoughts or things that inspired me each day. This journal focuses on finding a lesson from each day and expressing the words typographically.     Using only 2-ply white bristol boards and white glue, the goal of the project was to make a pair of footwear that is both comfortable and durable. These high heels were designed to wrap right around the user's feet for a comfortable fit, the strap that keeps the shoe on is both highly adjustable and strong enough to stay in place.     The group project was to create a space with cardboard that evokes a certain emotion and can also be flat-packed for transport. Our group focused on the confusion and optical illusions. Exploring origami and packaging techniques, we filled the space with 3D pop-up optical illusions. This space visually interacts with its audience as they move around to see it in different point of views and creates confusion.

    The goal of this project was to create a wearable or mobile piece with sensors, using the Lego Mindstorm kit. My partner and I decided to make a backpack targeted towards elementary kids; the backpack acts as a security for the kid when they are walking home from school in areas that are not well-lit.
