An incomplete grade may be granted by the faculty member in cases where you are unable to complete course work because of circumstances beyond your own control. Such circumstances may be medical or of a personal nature and you may be required to provide documentary evidence. The Advisor for students with disabilities can provide documentation for clients of that office.
All incomplete grades must include a backup letter grade. Final grades for incompletes must be submitted by the end of the second week of class of the next semester for fall courses and by the last faculty day for spring courses. Failure to complete the course work by the deadline will result in the backup grade being assigned. An extension of an incomplete grade may only be granted by the Dean.
