Request Transcripts

Transcripts are available to current students and alumni. Official transcripts include the student's complete academic record at Emily Carr. These records are confidential and can only be released with a written request from the student accompanied with payment.

Students with a financial hold will not be able to order transcripts. Please contact Financial Services at 604.629.4515 regarding payment for outstanding fees.

Transcripts can be ordered in person, by fax or by mail. Payment must be made at the time of your request. We do not accept phone or email requests.

Current students can order transcripts online through insideEC. Please note transcripts ordered online will be charged at $10/transcript and will be mailed to the address provided within 3 to 5 days.

Cost (per transcript)

Prices are in Canadian funds. Please note that Emily Carr does not offer express post or courier services.

  • Regular processing (3-5 days) to be picked-up: $10.00
  • Regular processing (3-5 days) to be mailed: $15.00
  • Rush processing (24 hours) to be mailed or picked up: $20.00

Degree Program Transcript Requests

Alumni can order transcripts by filling in a Transcript Request Form and submitting it in person, by fax or by mail. Questions regarding Degree Program transcript requests can be directed to Alex Fowler in Records & Registration at 604.844.3899 or afowler@ecuad.ca.

If you are unable to print the request form, please be sure that your written request includes the following information: First and Last Name, Address, Phone Number, Email, Birth Date, Emily Carr Student Number (if known), and Payment Information (VISA or MasterCard number and expiry date).

In-Person Requests
  • Fill out the request form, available above or in Student Services
  • If your transcript is being ordered by someone other than yourself, they must have your written and signed authorization.
  • Pay by cash, cheque, money order, debit card, VISA or MasterCard at the Financial Services Office, room 202 NB.
  • Student Services Office hours:
    Monday to Thursday: 8:30am-4:00pm
    Friday: 10:00am-4:00pm
Faxed Requests
  • Fill out the request form, available above
  • Pay by VISA or MasterCard by providing your information on the request form. If you prefer to give your credit card information over the phone, contact the cashier in the Financial Services Office at 604.629.4515.
  • Fax your request to 604.844.3089, Attn. Transcript Request
  • Call 604.844.3899 to confirm that your request has been received.

  • Pay by cheque, money order, VISA or MasterCard.

Continuing Studies Transcript Requests

Continuing Studies students can order transcripts by filling in a Transcript Request Form and submitting it in person, by fax or by mail. If you have questions regarding your request, please contact the Continuing Studies Office at 604.844.3810.

  • Submit form to the Continuing Studies Office, room 292 NB.

Replacement Degree Parchment

Alumni from the undergraduate and graduate programs can order a replacement degree parchment by filling in a Degree Parchment Replacement Request Form and submitting it in person, by fax or by mail. We do not accept phone or email requests. The cost is $25 and requests take approximately one week to process.
