Nick and Trev's Library Show TONIGHT!
May 15th, 6:30 - 8:30 in the library!
"Nick Howe and Trevor Discoe went through all of the Emily Carr Grad Films 1983 - 2013 and made a playlist of the greats. This is presently screening in the Emily Carr University Library.
A directed study: This event is a hosted screening of some of those films which did not make this list. Some good ones, funny ones, and not so good ones.
We would love to talk to you about why we made the decisions and share some of the information we gleaned from this experience with you all."

Reading Room | Degree Exhibition 2014
An invitation to all graduating students!
The Reading Room for printed matter is a temporary, collective space for the presentation of self-published books, essays, artists' publications and design work by the graduating class of 2014. Works in the Reading Room may include artists' books, zines, photo-based books, graphic novels, illustrated children's books, magazines, critical essays or interviews! All graduating students are invited to submit work. Your well-marked submissions should be dropped off in the library during installation week (April 29 - May 1).
Located on the mezzanine level of the Library, the Reading Room will be open to visitors for the duration of the 2014 Degree Exhibition at Emily Carr University of Art + Design

A poet fell into the water when he tried to grab the moon's reflection.
In moonrisefall the artist crafts her own moon, and carves into her body, into water, into the gazer, the track of the moonrise and moonfall.
The moon's trace is intangible. Its trace forever loops in the air. Once this ritual is placed into a body it acquires weight.
