International Art + Feminism Wikipedia Edit-A-Thon Day!
Multiple Locations Across the Globe + Online
Saturday, February 1st

The Art + Feminism Wikipedia Edit-a-Thon is being held this Saturday across the globe to help reverse a worrisome trend on Wikipedia: only about 13% of the current group of editors is female. The international event is being organized by Eyebeam Gallery in New York. According to Eyebeam, that inequality has led to numerous missing entries on notable women and a general lack of thoroughness in existing entries on female subjects.
