Emily Carr University Library

Let’s meet at the library.

The Emily Carr community converges and collaborates in the Library.

Here you have access to an awesome collection of diverse resources to support your class and research activities. It's also a space for exhibition and hosts changing exhibits in a variety of areas throughout the year. Our collection is focused on contemporary art, media and design, along with related materials to support art and design history. Print resources include books, journals and exhibition catalogues. A broad range of electronic resources offer slides and digital images, films, videos and DVDs, plus sound effects. We also feature artists' books, the University's archives, and a menu collection.

The Library is open to all Emily Carr students and faculty for research purposes, plus the public through the Community Borrowers program. Our eResources include databases to search for journal and newspaper articles, encyclopedia entries, images, statistics and even technical ebooks. Stay connected when off campus by simply logging in to our website.
