Greeting Cards

description

A project for Art Direction class where we had to create greeting cards using photographic imagery of flowers. The cards had to convey a specific feeling such as love, joy, missing you, thinking of you, and etc.

Special care was taken when choosing the right tactile materials and a specially crafted envelope with an inside design rounded up the package.

No Cell on the Road

images

description

Year 2009, Government of Vancouver post a new restriction for drivers: no cell-phone-use while driving. Instead of using violent or bloody accident images to scare the public not to use cell phones, my concept is to direct drivers where is the safe zone to pick up their phones.

Public Service Announcement Ads: Hand Wash

images

description

A public service announcement (PSA) or public service ad is a type of advertisement featured on television, radio, print or other media.
The most common topics of PSAs are health and safety.

The first PSA ad is designed for adults and to inform and encourage them wash their hands before they eat. The second PSA ad is designed for children to educate them the correct information about germs and encourage them to wash their hands.

Party Panic: Teen Magazine Feature

description

The art direction for the Teen Magazine spread mock-up involved organizing models, lighting, staging props, food, and the final layout and design. Our feature concept was to create a 'party disaster' opening spread and use the remanding space to educate a tween about how to plan and organize to keep your sanity while planning a teen party.

Mock-up Magazine Art Direction

images

description

For this project for the art direction class, we had to learn how to work with models, props, cameras, lights and more. We created a magazine spread aimed for teenagers who would want to have an ideal party at their own homes without it getting out of hand.

Creating the atmosphere for the our target audience was very fun to do. The hardest part of the project was adjusting the lights and making the drinks and the food look delicious.
