EDGH is a personal journal wrottem from Feb 17th to Mar 5th, 2011.I feel this personal diary serves like one inspired thoughts/note of each day, therefore, the concept is "stickers". Through the comvination of images and type, I wish my piece to be seem like a collection of expressions, filled with a variety of elements that present the mood of each day throughout the journal.
Feb 22nd was a day that I have decided to rest and recharge my mind. Through the whole day I was not going to gather thoughts or work on any project. I used the graphic that commonly appeared on rested TV channel to indicate my status, and layers of transparent papers to gradually explain the "go empty" process.

Wicked is a famous broadway musical that talks about a green skin whitch, who suffered from people's mis-judgements and battled with her moral values. She was born with a kind heart, but had tasted the crucial threats from selfish people, who she had trusted.
The posters, designed in a series of four, tell the story of the beginning, the struggle and her strike.
Poster one simply introduce the two contracted characters' personality, Glinda and Elphaba.
Second is talking about the restricted love between Elphaba and another male whitch, who Glinda also had falled in love with.
The third poster is all about how Elphaba had been trying her best to save others but at the same time being mis-judged by those who she saved.
Local Heroes

Local Heroes is a cookbook that highlights Canadian dishes with local ingredients. The biggest challenge of the project was to create a piece without any imagery at all, thereby bringing the focus to the typography. My intention was to make a prototype that captured both the warmth and simpicity in cooking a homemade meal, yet still had bursts of color for excitement.
