Ji, is the Mandarin word to 'remember'. This magazine concept is to celebrate the beauty and hardships of being a transcultural individual, community and society. The magazine deals with cultural issues and family relationships; it's meant to echo the feeling of nostalgia, emphasize the sense of past, present and future. The look and feel of this magazine is somewhat of a Family Album; for people to be able to relate to and not intimidated by it. The content of the magazine deals with personal issues from divorce to racial segregation and much more.

Sole Mate

Sole Mate is a typographic poster that serves as a visual planner portraying how I spent a week on September 2009. The poster relates a pair of shoes to an activity done on each day of the week. It also gives a description of the material the shoes are made of and the type of clothing that I wore with the shoes. Lastly, there is an information graphic that shows how long I wore each pair and the total amount of hours spent wearing the shoes altogether.
