The Thumb Twiddle Movement
description
Thumb twiddling is frequently used as an example of a useless, time-wasting activity, much like procrastination, but I think it’s more of a way to slow down, relax, and appreciate time.
Use #thumbtwiddle to join the movement and become a Thumb Twiddler!
The Thumb Twiddle Movement explores the idea of positive procrastination through slowness and positive well-being. The goal of the movement is to de-stigmatize procrastination and the negative feelings
associated with it and encourage the use of procrastination as a tool for slowing down, self-reflection, and stress relief.
Emily Carr Wayfinding System Redesign
description
This is a collaborative project to redesign the current Emily Carr wayfinding system. I collaborated with Danica Norton, where we developed the concept together, and then I was in charge of the production of the isometric map, as Danica was in charge of the making of the signage. We feel that we successfully analyzed and developed the wayfinding system.

description
Ebola is one of the world's deadliest viruses, with a fatality rate of up to 90%.
As there is no known cure, and no vaccine, the best way to contain the outbreak is to educate people to recognise the symptoms early, as the risk of transmission is far lower in the early stages of the virus.
This poster is an infographic poster to raise awareness about ebola virus and educate people about symptoms and prevention.
The Most Astounding Fact • Contemporary Wood Type Poster
description
Paying homage to the golden age of wood type, we had the opportunity of designing contemporary 17 in x 50 in wood type posters, in an Advanced Typography class with Peter Cocking. This poster features the awe-inspiring response given by astrophysicist Neil DeGrasse Tyson, on The Most Astounding Fact.
The colour palette is inspired by interstellar tonalities, paired with a tilted gradient to allow for an atmospheric feel. As well, a stereo anaglyphic twist on certain letterforms for an added touch of visual contrast in type perception.
Typographic Music Poster • Imagine Dragons
audio
description
In the world of music, not only can the spoken word be emotive & evocative—it can also be expressed and brought alive through typography. This typographic poster was inspired by musical sensation, Imagine Dragons' On Top of the World, and brings to light the colourful and uplifting landscape of the song piece. Situated atop an oceanic gradient, it has been designed to allow the eye to follow the lyrics through a deep sea journey.

Glassy Vancouver
description
Glassy Vancouver was a third year typography project to brand the City of Vancouver. The assignment parameters involved creating a logo and using it on various print and online outlets. A branding book was also created to provide guidelines for appropriate logo usage.
The logo was inspired by the book “City of Glass” by Douglas Coupland. It is meant to emulate the look of the city as well as represent the many facets and diversity that is Vancouver.

Ginger Zing Granola
description
This poster was created for an advanced typography class with Peter Cocking. The objective for this poster was to choose any kind of product packaging and create a poster with all of its content. I was inspired by the word Ginger Zing Granola and all of the promotional content I found on its packaging.
Rohstoff Tee
description
The objective for this project was to create a poster around a collection of everyday things. I chose to take a different approach to the idea of tea culture and created a poster that creates a focus around the origin and history of tea. Rohstoff in German is raw and natural and tee is the word tea. The poster exemplifies raw and natural tea.
