Sincerely Slow
description
This fourth year graduation project began with the realization that time was in control of our lives. In collaboration with Nicola Fuller, we became aware of our fears of wasting time, of running late, and of being unproductive and began to realize that time was in control of our lives. We found that society was dominated by the desire for speed in all areas of life. Food, fashion, travel, exercise, and so much more were all being experienced far too quickly. We began envisioning a world where the rhythms of life were slow, harmonious and provided them better opportunities for happiness.

Annie's Homegrown Shells and White Cheddar
description
This poster was done for Advanced Typography with Peter Cocking. We had to take the contents printed on food packaging and make a poster with the name of the product, the nutritional information and the promotional copy. I chose "Annie's Homegrown Shells & White Cheddar" and stuck to the colour palate of the packaging which is yellow and purple.

An information graphic encouraging the purchase of local food and beverage. It aimed to create a fun, playful, friendly poster or interactive document that rewarded its users instead of berating them for their food habits. It used positive language and bright, pleasant colours to achieve this, and was distributed in whimsical homemade packages. It was meant to be widely and freely distributed (on websites such as getlocal and eatlocal.org)

Roma/Internet Map Book
description
The setup for this project was to interpret two historical events, a global and a personal one. The re-imagination of a teenager's blurred memory of Rome and the advent of the Internet and its digital era resulted in a double-sided map reproduction of a traditional map of Rome, contrasted against a digital version on the other side. A clash between the traditional and the digital, this project speaks about fragmentation between the reality of our experiences and the virtual reality that we live by in today's era. Typographical experimentation and medium interplay were used to enhance the double-map's philosophy.
