During an installation of the work, audience members were able to select from different audio tracks (on headphones) while watching the work. The following 4 video clips are the same visually, taken from a recording of the live output of the generative system. However, each clip uses a different sound track for the video.
This new work builds on earlier creative experiments in metacreation and generative video by members of the Generative Media Project. The group has come together to produce an engaging work of audio-visual art in the ambient video genre.
Typographic Music Poster • Imagine Dragons
audio
description
In the world of music, not only can the spoken word be emotive & evocative—it can also be expressed and brought alive through typography. This typographic poster was inspired by musical sensation, Imagine Dragons' On Top of the World, and brings to light the colourful and uplifting landscape of the song piece. Situated atop an oceanic gradient, it has been designed to allow the eye to follow the lyrics through a deep sea journey.

Sound and light will activate the moment plants are touched. A personal musical composition will be formed depending on individual navigation routes.
It's Like That
description
It's Like That, y'all. I designed this 180 page hardcover anthology of Hip Hop writings in honour of the music and culture I grew up admiring. The book was sectioned into different aspects of hip hop life and culture, starting with its history and moving through its various effects on popular culture (women in hip hop, violence in hip hop, art and hip hop, etc).
The binding method is called Ethiopian Coptic, and it is done in single page signatures, adding to the weight of the book on one side. This allows it to lay flat on every single page; the book is meant to be read in sittings, and not carried around.

Melopad
description
Melopad offers a different experience letting kids making their own music. It comes with 8 colors of pads which produce 1 of the 8 pitches found in the major scale. The brain of this product is NXT and color sensors are used as the primary sense of device. The user assembles a personalized path. Using the limited number of tiles, user is required to form patterns creating the shortest routes to the right pitch. The concept is letting the user interact with music using the body; with movements such as walking, jumping and circling.
